Air brake hose is one of the most important part of a car. It not only concerns the brake effect, but also concern the driving safety. Therefore, a high quality car brake hose is necessary. Then how can it be high quality?
Explosion test
The test condition is to pressurize at 25000PSI for 2 minutes.
Standard: 25000PSI per minute, no leakage above 7000PSI is qualified
Bending test
The test condition and purpose are to fix one end, 800 turns per minute, and detect whether there is leakage after the pipe and joint are buckled.
Standard: Qualified if it reaches 35 hours without breaking

Pull-off test
The test condition and purpose are to detect whether the brake hose joint is pulled off or the brake hose is broken at a tensile speed of 25mm/min±3mm/min.
Standard: The pipe is qualified if it does not fall off or break under a tensile force of 1446N equivalent to 150KG.
Cold bending test
The test condition is to place it below 45-48 degrees below zero for 70 hours, and place it for 70 hours in a bent state. The purpose is to simulate whether there will be breakage and other situations when used in an extremely cold environment.
Ozone test
Ozone ions in the atmosphere will react with rubber and affect the service life of rubber products. Therefore, ozone testing is necessary.

Testing conditions
Testing is done at 40℃104℉ at an ozone concentration of 100PPHM. Punching is done at 0.3Hz, and cracks are checked after 24 hours. No cracking after 48 hours is considered qualified. In dynamic testing, the sample is placed in a container at a concentration of 100PPHM and 40 degrees Celsius for 70 hours without cracking. Dynamic means continuous pressurization and oxygenation. Static means no more pressurization and oxygenation in the container.
